 Read a few of the things that some of our students have said about their experience training with us: Tina, from Directions, has really helped me to improve my confidence whilst learning to drive. She gives full explanations of all driving procedures so that I can understand what I am doing and why. I feel that previous instructors have not been as effective at explaining the procedures that I needed to follow. Just like to thank you for pointing me in the right direction, what I found was after your 40 hours inclass training I found I had to find my own way, but was given your number and you set up an appointment to meet me and gave me advise on finance and other details I needed, you pointed me in the right direction and I should be starting soon as a Trainee Instructor. I needed extra help with my part 3 & Tina was very helpful and patient she made things very clear and helped me understand what I needed to do to become a good instructor not just to pass the exam. I passed in may 2006 & I still keep in touch with Tina. She is always there if I need any questions answered. i would highly recomend her. I had already passed my part 1 & 2 independantly and contacted Directions for help with my part 3. During my time with Directions I have found them to be really helpful and supportive. Amanda Smith (PDI) Tina from Directions Driver Training was recommended to me by a friend of my boyfriend. I had already passed my part 2 and was looking for help in guiding me towards my part 3. As I was still working full time in an office my time in training was limited to weekends. In total I received about 35 hours in car training and 17 hours observation training in which I watched Tina and took notes. I found the training very professional and well organised and it was tailored to suit me. My part 3 test was on the 12th November and thanks to Tina I passed first time with no pink badge. I also had the most Senior Examiner, Ted Taylor and the most dreaded pre set test (PST10). Amanda Smith (ADI) I have been a qualified ADI for 2 years and received training from two previous schools. I was not happy with the standard of training I had received from both companies until I came in contact with Tina Preston. Tina's approch to training was friendly but very professional and her methods of teaching where second to none, she guided me through my Part 3 exam at ease explaining what I needed to do and exactly how to do it. I also recommended a fellow trainee to Tina as he was on his final Part 3 attempt and she was able to get him through successfully. My friend and I both discussed Tina's qualities and as a highly qualified ADI Trainer we are both of the opinion that the standard of training received from Tina was far superior than we had previously received. Also when speaking with other ADI's Tina is well regarded within the industry and someone once quoted "She has a gift for teaching" If you are thinking about coming an ADI then give Tina a call, I highly recommend her from my own personal experience.
